The Best Time To Build New Habits
The reality of life is, nothing stays the same.
And if we’re not changing as our environments change, then we’re likely to be left behind.
In our relationships, our work, our pursuits, our lifestyle – everything we identify with what gives us hope and satisfaction, is constantly under threat of change. Or presents a big opportunity – depending on how you look at life!
So your success whether you’re an employee, start-up founder, student, manager, people leader or business owner is highly dependent on your ability to move with the times.
But we are by nature creatures of habit. We find certainty in comfort zones. 
So the key challenge we face is to know when it’s time to change. That is – realising our comfort zone no longer serves our purpose.
Confronting our comfort zone is difficult.
At times we can be blind to our situation. For example, have you ever been giving welcome advice to a friend or family member and caught yourself thinking, “I should really be doing that myself!”.
When you sense something within yourself is not right, then it’s probably not right. Keep a list of what you complain about or frustrates you and you’ll soon know what you should focus on.
The best time to build new habits is when your existing ones no longer serve you.
